As part of our commitment to our community, we held the “Workshop for the elaboration of ecological soaps from recycled oil”. This was born in order to prevent and reduce the contamination of domestic wastewater, promoting the use of used vegetable oil (avu) as a raw material in the production of ecological soap.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why does ecological soap made with recycled oil pollute less?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The resulting soap is much less polluting than a conventional soap since when the ingredients are mixed they become soap with glycerin, which will dissolve reaching the ocean. It also does not contain surfactants, commonly found in commercial soaps, which are harmful to health and the environment. Neither are chemicals such as dyes and synthetic perfumes added.<\/span><\/p>\n
